Coldstore is an international art project which invited artists of the groups Luna Nera and Factory Berlin and several guest artists from germany and abroad , which will take place in the "Kühlhaus am Gleisdreieck" in Luckenwalderstr in Berlin Kreuzberg. All artists are concered with the use of unused buildings and localities within the urban environment, and are using these places as sources of inspiration and creation, by working with and around the space. Through their work the artist are seeking to revitalise the abandond urban deserts.

The artists are exploring these spaces by means of new technologies in close combination with traditional art practises. By referring and responding directly to the available space, the visitor is given the opportunity to see their immediate surrounding through the eyes of the artist.

The exhibition "Coldstore" will be a 3 day exhibition of visual, acoustic and performative art.
